Have you seen my sleeves?

Iím sorry to bother you. I know that we are all extremely busy. You know, when I was admitted to medical school, I didnít think it would be this much work. Boy, was I wrong. But Iím getting off the subject.

I have been looking for my sleeves for around two months. Iíve been through all the labs in the M1 area a couple of times. Iíve looked in the library where the nursing students usually sit; again, no luck. Neither the DJ nor any of the girls dancing on the DČjý Vu dry bar have seen them. They are definitely not in the backseat of my Camaro. Iíve been back there a lot and have never seen them.

Not having sleeves is similar to wearing scrubs. I wore scrubs everyday this summer while I was working in clinic as part of my medical school training. My doc gave me lots of independence, so it will be weird in Advanced History and Physical Exam re-learning all the stuff I did this summer. For example, Iím much more comfortable visualizing the cervix with a plastic speculum than a metal one. It will be good to review that stuff, though.

Iím not sure when I lost my sleeves. During the early fall I didnít miss them all that much. I simply followed through my daily routine of medical school classes and medical school affiliated activities. But now the weather is getting colder causing me to involuntarily flex my muscles. This is getting to be a problem. How am I supposed to take notes in my medical school classes when my muscles are getting in the way?

This is really embarrassing. I havenít lost my sleeves since I was a personal trainer. That was about a year before I started medical school. I remember it clearly: I was doing a normal work out with Laser and Gemini. We had just finished leg press and bench press. We were about to go running when Blaze asked me where my sleeves had gone. I hadnít even noticed they were missing. So I said, ěI donít know where my sleeves are. But when I find them, I will surgically re-attach them.î We all shared a laugh and a protein bar.

If you happen to see my sleeves, could you bring them by my house? I wonít need them so much this week because Iíll be painting the Camaro. But Iíll definitely need them for that one week in January when it gets cold.

Thanks,

MG
